A migrant cleaner has been hailed a hero after he caught a seven-year-old boy plunging from an 80ft apartment window in Russia.
A video show the terrifying moment the child, Sasha, falls from the seventh floor of a St Petersburg flatblock window.
Neighbours had seen the little boy -whose mother is an influencer - teetering on the windowsill and shouted at him to get back inside while trying to raise the alarm.
Uzbek cleaner Khairullo Ibadullayev, 37, saw the commotion and acted immediately. He found himself directly beneath Sasha as he fell from the high-rise window on Petrozavodskaya Street.
The caretaker manages to catch the boy and they both collapse together in a snowdrift. But the trouble was not yet over as the hero realised the boy wasn't breathing.
Meanwhile, the boy's mother Nadezhda Amrani, 47 - who has more than 50,000 social media followers - reportedly didn't know her son was missing until around 10 minutes after the fall.
Mr Ibadullayev, who works as a caretaker at the building, said: 'I was crying and shouting, but no one was taking the child away from the window.'

He added: 'He was playing on the windowsill. I shouted for him to come inside, but he didn't hear me. Then he fell. I caught him, his legs hit here, and I fell too….
'It was clear the boy wasn't breathing. I started massaging his chest, and then I heard him gasp. After that, he was alright.'
The boy struck Mr Ibadullayev in the chest as he fell and both tumbled into the snow.
The boy's mother Mrs Amrani had only briefly gone into the kitchen while her son was playing on a tablet at the window.
When she returned to her son, she was met with the horrifying sight of an empty open window and her son no where to be seen.
Mrs Amrani calls herself a social media 'strategy architect' declaring: 'I motivate women to make choices. I generously share my experiences.'
While the mother was left confused seven floors above, Mr Ibadullayev was saving her son's life by performing chest compressions until emergency services arrived.
Sasha was rushed to hospital where he remains in intensive care but in a stable condition.
