Incredible moment abducted girl, 3, is rescued after dad let stranger 'who needed a hand' come into family home

An abducted adorable three-year-old was rescued after the girl's father let a stranger in need of a 'helping hand' into their home.

Kehlani Rogers disappared from her Avondale home in Arizona on Friday around 11.30pm after she was allegedly abducted by 23-year-old Marina Noriega.

But on Sunday morning, a QuikTrip security guard, only identified as C Edmonds, recognized the toddler and the woman from an Amber Alert he had seen the day before.

In a moment of quick-thinking, Edmonds turned to a Camelback Moving company crew at the gas station.

The team were seen on dashcam footage boxing in the suspect's pickup truck while Edmonds called the police, AZ Family reported.

After tirelessly searching for Kehlani, police arrived on scene within minutes, the Avondale Police Department said in a release

The toddler was 'safe and in good health' and police said they don't believe she was harmed.

'We’re a moving company, so we’re not professional heroes by any means,' the president of Camelback Moving, Chad Olsen, told the outlet.

On the night of Kehlani's disappaerance, her father had taken Noriega into their home as she was in need of 'a helping hand,' according to the toddler's aunt Taliyah Banks

'But to listen to the dashcam and watch the dashcam footage of the crew kind of identifying the situation and who this was, and putting the plan together that we’re going to block this truck in with our truck and not allow them to leave,' Olsen continued.

'I couldn’t be more proud.'

The company said in a statement on Facebook: 'We couldn’t be more proud of our Camelback Moving employees this morning for assisting in the recovery of an abducted 3-year-old after an Amber Alert was issued last night.'

'Their awareness, teamwork and willingness to take initiative helped bring her home safely, for which was are immensely grateful. Awareness matters. Action matters. This is why the Amber Alert system works!

'Camelback Moving is unspeakably proud of our community heroes: Robert Hernandez, Ralph Vollmert, Christopher Dixon, Kevin Place, Kevin Kimes, Gerardo Galacia, Kobe Brown and Michael Macallum!'

On the night of Kehlani's disappaerance, her father had taken Noriega into their home as she was in need of 'a helping hand,' the toddler's aunt, Taliyah Banks, told ABC 15.

While the relationship between Noriega and the family remains unclear, Banks pleaded with Noriega and said: 'Just give her back to us. Bring her back. You're messing so much up with our family and we're not gonna stop until she's home.'

'She's a very loving little girl and I don't understand why someone would want to take her from her family. We love her, and she's a daddy's girl.'

The police department's Jaret Redfearn told Fox 10: 'The fact that she was not allowed to be taken, there was no prior conversation, there was no plan.

'They woke up this morning and Kehlani’s gone and Marina’s gone – this is what leads us to believe that she’s in danger.'

Noriega was arrested and remains in the custody of Avondale Police detectives. She would be booked into the Maricopa County jail on charges related to the incident, police said.

Noriega is facing a felony custody interference charge with a bond set at $250,000, according to AZ Family.
