Worst-case scenario in Altea.
The Spanish Costa Blanca has a tradition of fireworks displays that gather people from all over Europe and the world.
But yesterday (9), the festivities turned into tragedy, as a pyrotechnic failure left 27 people injured at the famous Castell de l'Olla in Altea.
Euroweekly News reported:
"Thousands of spectators had gathered for one of the Valencia region's best-known summer fireworks events when something went badly wrong during the display in the early hours of Sunday, August 9.
Around 100,000 people were reportedly watching the fireworks in Altea for the annual event, which has been held for around 40 years and sees fireworks launched from the sea."

One Deep State monster behind AG Jeff Session's recusal from the Russia collusion mess is a monster – Tashina Gauhar.
The Last Refuge reminds us:
Dear @JeffClarkUS, it was called "March Toll" because the originating recusal plan was discussed, quietly, by the group. Two citations below for your review.
I'm sure you will note the importance of who was in the March 2nd recusal discussion meeting. (One highlighted name is Tash Gauhar.)

Tash Gauhar is a Deep State monster and it's very hard to believe that Jeff Sessions gave her his job without knowing what he was doing.

A liberal GOP Indiana State Senator has suffered a shocking defeat to his opponent following a recount, three months after he supposedly won.
As The Indianapolis Star reported, Trump-hating RINO State Senator Spencer Deery, who defied the President on redistricting, officially lost his race to conservative pro-Trump challenger Paula Copenhaver by three votes.
The results were finalized by a three-person commission that included Republican Secretary of State Diego Morales.
Deery was previously certified as the 'winner' of the election by three votes following the May 5 primary. But as the Indianapolis Star notes, Copenhover successfully challenged eight votes cast for Deery, while losing only two of her own.
The Indianapolis Star reported:
An incumbent state senator lost his race after a high-stakes recount threw out several

Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, is back in legal hot water—this time facing serious felony charges related to the alleged sexual exploitation of a child.
According to court records from Garfield County, Colorado, Tyler Boebert was arrested in connection with five felony counts stemming from an alleged incident dated around January 1, 2024.
The charges include sexual exploitation of a child, sexual exploitation of a child with intent to deal in, sell, or distribute sexually exploitative material, a related charge involving videotaped material, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the Denver Post.
He was taken into custody and released from Garfield County jail on Sunday after posting a $10,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 19 in Garfield County District Court. Specific details from the arrest affidavit have not been made public.

Sports Illustrated, a so-called sports magazine, appeared to chime in on the political controversy surrounding anti-White racism after Chicago Sky forward DiJonai Carrington executed a violent foul against the Fever's Sophie Cunningham and later blamed "White privilege" for her ejection.
The outlet claimed in a story last night, following the incident, that Cunningham deserved it, describing the foul as a "bitter taste of Karma," a clear nod to her recently speaking out against transgender participants in women's sports.
Cunningham sparked a heated debate, starting with numerous coaches refusing to condemn the idea of men competing in the WNBA, and some even supporting it. It later led to ex-NBA stars declaring themselves for the WNBA draft out of irony, and the WNBA holding "listening sessions" to deal with the possibility of men joining the league under the guise of identifying as trans.
The star Indiana Fever guard was brutally attacked by the Chicago Sky's DiJonai Carrington, who later revealed

President Trump was attending the LIV Golf tournament at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club on Sunday when North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) was forced to scramble F-16 fighter jets after two general aviation aircraft entered temporary restricted airspace.
According to NORAD, the F-16s safely intercepted and escorted the two civilian aircraft out of the restricted zone. The temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) were in place specifically because the President of the United States was on site.
NORAD declined to speculate on whether the pilots simply ignored the rules or made a "mistake," stating that determination is up to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The command reminded pilots that they are required to check FAA Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) and temporary flight restrictions before every flight. The White House did not immediately comment on the incident.

President Trump announced on Sunday that the amazing and brilliant Will Scharf will replace Dave Warrington as White House Counsel, effective September 1.
Will Scharf, a former federal prosecutor, is currently serving as the White House Staff Secretary.
Trump said Will Scharf will also serve as Assistant to the President.
Dave Warrington, who served as Trump's White House Counsel since January 2025, will be going back to the private sector.
Full statement from President Trump:
It is my Great Honor to announce that, effective September 1st, Will Scharf will become Assistant to the President and White House Counsel, replacing a man, David Warrington, who has done a truly outstanding job as White House Counsel and, before that, for my Presidential Campaign. David will be going on to the Private Sector.
Will has done an amazing job

What a wild response.
ABC News host Jonathan Karl confronted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Sunday with the radical national platform published by the Democratic Socialists of America—and AOC's first instinct was to change the subject.
During an appearance on ABC's This Week, Ocasio-Cortez confirmed that she remains a member of the organization's New York City chapter, although she distinguished it from the national organization.
Karl then read through some of the national DSA program's most extreme proposals:
- Defund the Defense Department and close American military bases overseas
- Abolish the police and prison system
- Grant amnesty to every immigrant in the United States
- Replace the president and Supreme Court with bodies subordinate to Congress
- Abolish the United States Senate
- Place major corporations and essential industries under public ownership
These are not Republican talking points. They appear in the DSA's own published national program, "Workers Deserve More!"
So how

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed wants Americans to believe that opposition to Sharia in state courts belongs in the same historical indictment as some of the darkest crimes ever committed on American soil.
That is not a paraphrase invented by his opponents. It is the unmistakable thrust of his own remarks.
Speaking to the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in October 2022, El-Sayed declared: "You can't understand a Sharia ban without understanding the Trail of Tears."
He then invoked white supremacy and said the "same exact forces" were behind Native American removal, the destruction of Black Wall Street, the Oklahoma City bombing and Oklahoma's attempt to bar courts from considering Sharia law, according to the Washington Free Beacon's report and video.

Liberal late-night comic Bill Maher, who occasionally makes good points about the absurdity of the left, gave a good reminder to the right that he's not on your side during a Friday episode of HBO's Real Time.
During a segment, instead of calling out the crimes committed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, roasting him over his diary, which proved he lied countless times, and trolling the insane people who continue to defend him, Maher took aim at Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) for releasing his diary and seeking to have Fauci held accountable. The most edgy thing he said was that Fauci was wrong to say the vaccine prevented people from becoming infected with or transmitting the virus.
The funniest thing about his monologue is that he probably actually believes the slop his writers gave him.
Though he did poke fun at true COVID fanatics and people still wearing masks later in the segment, as any sane person would, he suggested that Fauci is innocent and pushed the Democrats' narrative of Republicans weaponizing the justice system.

Florida AG James Uthmeier was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to talk about Florida’s investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci for his handling of the Covid pandemic.
Fauci’s pardon by Joe Biden does not protect him from state-level prosecutions.
“What about Joe Biden’s pardon on Anthony Fauci. Does that touch Florida state law or not?” Bartiromo asked.
“It does not. I don’t know why you need a pardon if you didn’t do anything wrong. Dr. Fauci clearly doesn’t want to answer questions, but the American people still have a lot of questions,” Uthmeier said.
“He did not believe a lot of the mandates and protocols that he was pushing. He doubted safety, and efficacy of the so-called medical treatments, yet nevertheless forced them on the American people. They’ve been injured. There’s deception. We are gonna search for accountability and do everything we can in Florida under our state laws,” Uthmeier continued.
“So, you
The White House on Sunday shared a video compilation of Abdul El-Sayed's most radical stances showing his Communist campaign for exactly what it is despite his attempts to distance himself from the Democratic Socialists of America.
As seen in the clip, El-Sayed has called for defunding the police, equating it to "disinvesting in the means of incarcerating someone or killing them on the streets." He's also called for term limits on Supreme Court justices, giving each President three appointments to the high court, and expanding the court.
Wealth taxes to "disincentivize the accumulation of wealth," abolishing ICE and opening the border, giving illegals drivers' licenses and welfare, impeaching Trump, and banning fossil fuels are all on his agenda. "F*ck ICE," he's said.
This is straight from the DSA's playbook.
