MS NOW's Ruhle Fawns Over Liberal Pastor Senate Candidate for Kansas
On Wednesday's Money, Power, Politics, MS NOW host Stephanie Ruhle fawned over liberal pastor Adam Hamilton, who is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Kansas, and gave him a forum to portray the religious right as bad Christians.
Ruhle hyped the Kansas Democrat's chances of winning in solidly red Kansas by noting that the Cook Political Report moved its rating on the race from "solid" to "likely" Republican even though "likely" still means that Republican Senator Roger Marshall is overwhelmingly favored.
After Reverend Hamilton declared that he "loves" the MS NOW host, he talked up how he would like to push the Republican Senator from his job, leading
Capehart Defends El-Sayed From Socialism Label, Calls Trump 'Openly Racist'
MS NOW host Jonathan Capehart joined PBS News Hour anchor Amna Nawaz and The Atlantic staff writer David Brooks on Friday to defend Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed from Brooks's accusation of being a socialist. While that may have been a bridge too far for Capehart, he had no problem claiming President Trump's new birthright citizenship executive orders were "openly racist" and "white nationalist."
Capehart wasn't the only member of the trio upset at GOP labeling efforts. Nawaz lamented to Brooks, "What we have seen from Republicans on the messaging front so far is some anti-Muslim rhetoric already. Republicans are now using Dr. El-Sayed's full name in their ads, which they haven't
AP Fact-Checker Runs To Mamdani's Defense On Government-Run Grocery Stores
Associated Press fact-checker Melissa Goldin came running to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's defense on Tuesday after conservative media personalities and Republican politicians accused him of hypocrisy for requiring a "library-card-esque" ID to shop at his government-run grocery stores, but opposing it when it comes to voting. However, Goldin's insistence that such claims are "misinformation" was not convincing.
Goldin lamented, "Misinformation began spreading in response to a comment made at a press conference last week by Jeanny Pak, the interim president and CEO of New York City's Economic Development Corporation. Asked how the city will stop people from taking advantage of lower prices at the stores,
Half of Democrat Voters Support DSA's Plan to Replace Presidency and Supreme Court
Fully half of U.S. Democrat voters support replacing the presidency and Supreme Court with something else, but that proposal – and others advocated by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) – are broadly rejected by America's total electorate, results of a new Rasmussen poll reveals.
The national survey, conducted July 28-30, asked U.S. likely voters to voice the strength of their support for each of four DSA proposals:
- Replace the presidency and Supreme Court as we now know them.
- Abolish borders and grant amnesty to anyone currently in the U.S. illegally.
- Defund the Pentagon.
- Abolish prisons as part of a long-term program.
Among all voters, 56%

CNN Defends Fauci's Fifth Amendment Pleas, Blames Republicans
On Sunday, CNN Newsroom with Fredricka Whitfield hosted emergency room physician Dr. Rob Davidson. The two glorified Dr. Anthony Fauci and praised him for his efforts during COVID. They complained about him being "attacked" by Republicans during a Senate hearing even though he "guided the nation through the COVID pandemic."
Whitfield began by portraying Fauci as a hero and describing him as "the man who guided the nation through the COVID pandemic." She exclaimed that he is now "being grilled by mostly Republicans" for his actions during the pandemic and played a clip of him on Capitol Hill pleading the Fifth amendment which he did over one hundred times.
