Rene Campos, a registered sex offender, has launched a campaign to represent Fresno, California’s District 7, ABC30 reported Wednesday.

Summers issued his resignation and will take leave through the rest of the academic year, relinquishing all duties from the university afterwards, a Harvard spokesman confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Obviously, I would not allow my daughter to compete on behalf of China, because of the serious human rights violations in China,” Arthur Liu told Japan-based English-language magazine Nikkei Asia in an online interview Monday night.
