The United States and Israel launched a sweeping attack on the Iranian regime early Saturday morning, targeting senior Islamic Republic officials in a wide-scale operation aimed at toppling the hardline regime and destroying its military capabilities.
In Tehran, the U.S. attack on the regime, dubbed "Operation Epic Fury," was met with cheers and dancing from civilians who were overjoyed at the sight of a strike on the home of an Iranian regime official. "I love Trump," they chanted. In Washington, D.C., left-wing pundits expressed dismay and called for President Donald Trump's impeachment.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas—President Donald Trump declared that the United States is "witnessing a historic American energy boom like we've never seen" during a speech he delivered from a Southern Texas oil and gas port on Friday afternoon. "This port is right at the center of the action," he said.
Paramount is closer than ever to acquiring CNN parent company Warner Bros. after Netflix declined to raise its bid for the media conglomerate. That's bad news for the failing network's stable of overpaid hacks, many of whom will be first in line for layoffs (or drastic salary reductions) once the acquisition goes through. Not surprisingly, the Trump administration has already signaled its support for the move.
ROCK HILL, S.C.—Gavin Newsom, who is definitely running for president, is probably—inscrutably, appallingly—the early favorite to win the Democratic nomination in 2028. On a Monday night in South Carolina, several hundred angsty boomers have turned out to hear the greased-up California governor talk about his favorite subject: himself. The early primary state is one of the first stops on Newsom's book tour for Young Man in a Hurry, his recently published "memoir of discovery."

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has joined the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) in backing Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas) for U.S. Senate.
In a robocall released Friday, Harris implored Texas voters to send "a fighter like Jasmine Crockett" to the Senate.
Amherst College has a Muslim chaplain, a Buddhist chaplain, and a Hindu chaplain. Now, after the school hosted a bizarre sexual ceremony in the college’s main chapel, it is looking for a Christian one, too.
A job posting on ChristianUniversityJobs.com says that Amherst is seeking a part-time Christian chaplain who will "advance equity, belonging, and interreligious understanding." The post comes as the school faces blowback for an orientation event in which students mimed sex acts in the college’s Johnson Chapel, a space used for religious services and convocations.
The Trump administration formally blacklisted a principal at a United Nations school in Gaza after federal investigators unearthed evidence that he participated in the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attacks as a member of Hamas's East Jabaliya Battalion, the Washington Free Beacon has learned. It is the first time the United States has banned a terrorist affiliated with a U.N. humanitarian agency from participating in U.S. foreign aid projects, according to a nonpublic investigative summary provided to Congress and reviewed by the Free Beacon.
CNN's chief climate correspondent Bill Weir lamented that climate change has prevented people from ice skating on Central Park's ponds like they did "back in the 19th century." Videos from social media, however, show people have been skating on the ice in recent weeks.

"I love nuclear weapons," a friend of mine, a veteran of the Cold War, once remarked. "Point them in the direction of a country, and freedom spreads."
The context was the deployment in 1983 by America of Pershing II intermediate-range missiles in West Germany. In retrospect, that decision, along with the rest of President Reagan's military buildup, did hasten the eventual defeat of the Soviet Union in what was the greatest U.S. strategic achievement—and advance of freedom—since the victory in World War II.
The U.S. embassy in Jerusalem authorized the voluntary departure of non-emergency personnel and their families on Friday, telling staff that anyone who wishes to leave Israel should do so "TODAY" as President Donald Trump weighs military action against Iran.
