A set of Arizona parents are likely kicking themselves after allowing a random meth-head, 23-year-old Marina Noriega, to stay at their home. A home where they lived with their toddler.
Turns out, the meth-head ran off with their child, 2-year-old Kehlani Rogers, early Saturday morning, and out went an Amber Alert soon afterwards.
Fortunately, these movers and a security guard were on the lookout the next day:
A QuikTrip security guard noticed the woman and kid matching the Amber Alert description and called the police around 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Then a crew from Camelback Moving Inc. pulled up for gas and notice the man on the phone. They agree with the security guard, recognizing the girl from the Amber Alert pic, and go full action movie, parking their truck behind the kidnapper's to block her in until police arrive.
You'll be glad to know that little Kehlani was unharmed, and the meth-head was treating her like a long-lost daughter as meth-heads might do. She apparently planned on taking the girl on a train to California.
Fortunately, the meth-head is in jail.
From KTAR News:
She was booked into jail on one count of custodial interference, and her bail was set at $250,000, according to Maricopa County Sheriff's Office inmate records. Her next court appearances were scheduled for March 2 and March 4.
