Here's how the Women's Pro Baseball League kicked off festivities at their fisrt-ever game, with a rendition of the National Anthem sung by Martha Reeves of the Motown group Martha and the Vandells:
I mean ... she certainly gave it all she's got!
Let's face it. Americans aren't known for their healthy eating.
Otherwise, RFK Jr. wouldn't be out there filming healthy cooking classes for us.
So, we don't really need a big excuse to cut our healthy food intake. And the recent Mexican lettuce cyclospora outbreak is as good a reason as any.
At 92 years old, Gilbert Martin says retirement just isn't for him.
At the tender young age of 80, he retired from his longstanding career in the natural gas industry and went to work as a greeter at Sam's Club for the next twelve years. When his position was eliminated recently, the Wilmington, North Carolina, man tried giving leisure a try, but he told WECT News,
This video out of Spokane is just heartbreaking.
Wildfires in Washington State jumped from the forests and into people's neighborhoods. The damage was unreal:
Here are some details on the flames from ABC News:
The Old Trails Fire, which had scorched more than 2,300 acres, was one of three fires burning in the Spokane area on Saturday amid dangerous, windy conditions.

Lead Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer Justin Dupree uncovered a big surprise while searching a bag at the Gulf Shores International Airport (JKA) this week: five stolen cannonballs from nearby Fort Morgan ...
'My first thought was, "I couldn't see a fuse and need to get some help quick,"' Dupree said. 'I couldn't see the entire item but was scared I might have been holding a live explosive.'
We all know that Democrats increasingly admit they have no love for the country, as shown in polls about patriotism. The RNC research team put together a video highlighting Democrats' open contempt for the United States of America.
