Flyers advertising a conservative speaking event at Gettysburg College were hijacked and altered to show incorrect information intended to “purposefully deceiv[e]” students and prevent them from attending.

The flyers posted by the school’s Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter to draw attention to an upcoming speech by North Korean defector Yeonmi Park were replicated and reposted on campus with an incorrect date, time, and location, the chapter has informed the Daily Caller News Foundation. The QR code on the original flyer directed prospective attendees to ticket information for the talk. In the fake flyers that code was replaced with one leading to radical trans organization The Trevor Project, a proponent of medical gender transition for minors.

Federal prosecutors have charged a New Hampshire man with attempted murder after authorities say he opened fire on a U.S. Border Patrol agent near the Canadian border.

Blu Zeke Daly, also known as Cullan Zeke Daly, 26, of Manchester, faces one count of attempted murder of a federal officer and one count of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon, according to a press release from the Department of Justice (DOJ). Daly remains hospitalized in New Hampshire and is under guard.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is urging local Kentucky law enforcement not to release an illegal immigrant charged with sexual assault after placing a detainer on him, the Daily Caller News Foundation first learned.

On Feb. 5, Yordan Basilio Diaz Vera, a 34-year-old Lyft driver, was arrested by Louisville authorities and charged of first-degree sodomy and kidnapping a mother of four. Since his arrest, ICE has placed a detainer on Diaz Vera and is now pleading with the Louisville police to not release the suspect back onto the city streets.

Rene Campos, a registered sex offender, has launched a campaign to represent Fresno, California’s District 7, ABC30 reported Wednesday.

The manager of a Texas Whataburger restaurant subdued an unruly customer by beating him with a trashcan after the customer allegedly assaulted a worker during a Feb. 22 incident, video shows.

Officers from the Paris Police Department responded to the fast food restaurant, where they found the suspect, identified as Anthony William Newhuis, 41, bleeding from the head in the parking lot, according to WFAA. Newhuis was allegedly verbally abusive to workers at the location.
