A driver in Colorado was pulled over by a officer for speeding, but he was in a Tesla and had self-driving engaged. So he tried to talk his way out of a ticket by blaming the car.

A Tesla driver was caught on camera blaming his car's Autopilot feature for speeding, according to body camera footage released by the Parker Police Department.
Police said an officer stopped a driver traveling at 64 mph in a 45 mph zone on July 21.
Judging by the video, the man with the blurred face didn't sound like English was his first language.
And he was insistent that he wasn't driving, so apparently that means he's not responsible for whatever the car was doing.
He demanded the supervisor! He called the cop rude!
The police department reminded drivers that driver assistance technology does not replace the driver.
'Whether your vehicle has adaptive cruise control, lane centering or full self-driving, you are still legally responsible for operating your vehicle safely. That includes obeying speed limits, paying attention to the road and remaining in control of your vehicle,' the police department posted on Facebook. 'No matter what technology your vehicle has, the person behind the wheel is accountable for the vehicle's actions. These systems are designed to assist you, not drive for you.'
With the way the courts are in this country, maybe this kid should tell the judge it's Elon Musk's fault.
