Lyford, Texas, Police Chief Marcos Garcia and Officer Raymundo Sanchez responded to a call to rescue a man being stung by bees.
The man turned out to be an elderly disabled man unable to escape, and without a second thought these heroes jumped into action, braved the swarm, and carried the man to their cruiser.
Here's the bodycam footage:
Un-bee-lievable!
Apparently the hive was found next door in an abandoned lot, and it's unclear what triggered the attack.
But KLTV reports that thanks to these men's bravery, the bees didn't take anyone down.
The man who was rescued was still in the hospital recovering as of last Friday, according to police. He was stung at least 30 times.
Garcia, who was stung 18 times, and Sanchez are OK, along with two other women who were also attacked that day.

I can't help but think that scene in Tommy Boy would have played out a lot differently if it had been these officers who pulled up behind Tommy and Richard.
