If you know any Hollywood directors, tell them the Seattle library is a great low-cost option for their next zombie apocalypse movie.
This 12-minute video from TPUSA is quite enlightening (I'll have highlights below for people who don't have time to watch):
Reporters Savanah Hernandez and Jonathan Choe visited the Seattle Central Library, a glittering 11-story glass and steel work of art that opened to the public in 2004. The library holds more than 1.5 MILLION books in over 350,000 square feet of space.
Plenty of space for drug-addled psychos to enjoy being drug-addled psychos:
That last picture is in the CHILDREN'S section, and he wasn't the only one overdosing and/or sleeping there.
The plumbing in this $165 million library keeps breaking because the homeless junkies keep flushing random stuff down the toilets. The library also had to install air quality monitors because druggies were smoking weed, meth, and fentanyl everywhere - especially in the bathrooms.
In the "teen" section, dozens of men with, uh, strong odors were milling about, just waiting for your young daughter to walk by in pursuit of young adult literature.
And then there are the reviews...
Well, Alex, the answer is that your political leaders hate you, and they especially hate your children!
The city's library system is asking for a $480 million investment this year, roughly $300 million of which will go to replacing all the fancy Italian-cut windows in the Seattle Central Library.
(A better use of $480 million might be to set it on fire.)
But don't worry: The library has lots of fentanyl tests and overdose kits for all the demon-possessed junkies who are meandering about in the Halls of Scholarly Inquiry.
I'm not sure if I could design an apocalypse film that is this clownish!
