The podcast release followed U.S. Secret Service agents shooting and killing a man attempting to force his way into Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida on Sunday. De Niro also claimed on the podcast that “Trump is the enemy of this country” and would refuse to ever leave the White House. Democrats are honing their focus on some districts that staunchly supported President Donald Trump in the 2024 election as they look to retake the House of Representatives in November.

Legendary actor Robert De Niro cried while espousing alarmist rhetoric about President Donald Trump to MS NOW host Nicolle Wallace during a Monday episode of “The Best People with Nicolle Wallace.”

Wallace asked De Niro why he was “always about lifting up everybody” around him during the podcast. The actor, who has played mobsters and hitmen, immediately became emotional when answering and attacked Trump for supposedly trying to ruin the United States. Claire Lai, the daughter of Chinese political prisoner Jimmy Lai, is urging American-born skier Eileen Gu to bring attention to Jimmy Lai’s case.

“I am writing to you because of your outspoken appreciation for the values that have shaped you. You have frequently expressed how your American upbringing and education instilled in you a sense of purpose and a commitment to using your platform for good,” Claire Lai wrote to Gu in an open letter published Saturday.

CNN host Fareed Zakaria ranted at New York City and Los Angeles on Sunday, saying the two cities are “delivering less” even as spending increases.
