President Donald Trump awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Team USA hockey goalie Connor Hellebuyck after he led the United States of America to victory over Canada to win gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
There were rumors that President Trump’s first State of the Union address was going to run two hours and anyone would be forgiven for dreading it, but it turns out it was a politically confrontational spectacle that this country needed and deserved.
It appears that not a single congressional Democrat at the State of the Union agreed that the United States government is meant to serve Americans, not illegal aliens.

In an important recent immigration decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, two of the judges, Edith Jones and Kyle Duncan, did what judges are supposed to do. They applied federal law exactly as it is written. The third judge, Biden appointee Dana Douglas, ignored the law and did her own thing. We began the Dishonorable Judicial Conduct Award for judges who refuse to follow the law and instead twist it, or ignore it altogether, to achieve the policy outcome they want. Judge Douglas has earned the next one.
